Credit Card Payment Terms of Service Agreement

Effective Date: April 15th 2019
This Terms of Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between JLP Electric (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By making a payment for services using a credit card, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Description of Services
JLP Electric provides electrical contracting services, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. The specific services to be performed will be detailed in the project proposal, quote, or invoice provided to you prior to the commencement of work.
By making a payment, you agree that you have reviewed and accepted the scope of the services described. - Payment Terms
Payments must be made by credit card as agreed upon during the acceptance of services or receipt of the invoice.
All payments are due immediately upon receipt of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You are responsible for ensuring that your credit card information is up to date and accurate at the time of payment.
We reserve the right to apply late fees if payments are not made within the agreed-upon time frame. A late fee of 1.5% per month may be applied to outstanding balances. - Refund Policy
All payments are final. Refunds will only be issued in cases where JLP Electric is unable to provide the agreed-upon services due to fault on our part. Refunds will not be issued for services that have been fully or partially delivered. - Chargeback Policy
If you dispute a credit card charge through your card provider (a “chargeback”), we reserve the right to pursue collection of the amount in question. In the event of a chargeback:
JLP Electric will provide all relevant documentation to prove the validity of the charge, including this Agreement and records of services rendered.
You agree to reimburse us for any administrative costs incurred in fighting the chargeback. - Force Majeure
JLP Electric will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events. - Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any damages arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service. We will not be responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including but not limited to property damage, delays, or loss of income. - No Guarantee
JLP Electric will perform all services to the best of our ability and in accordance with industry standards. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results, especially in cases where external factors (e.g., pre-existing electrical conditions, municipal regulations) may affect the work. - Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, BC. - Acceptance
By making a payment via credit card for services provided by JLP Electric, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
